Rare 1993 Range Rover Classic LWB Sable Edition Black/Black 87k Original Miles

1993 Range Rover LWB Sable Edition for sale with only 87k original miles.

First sold new on 7/17/1993 by Don Rasmussen Company in Portland Oregon. This is a rare model called the “County Sable Edition”. The last of the classic LWB Range Rovers were made from 1993 to 1995.

The County Sable Edition was a limited production of only 200 units and offered one year only 1993. The car came finished in Beluga Black paint, Dark Sable Connolly leather seats, trim, and Mediterranean Poplar Wood. It is noticeably different from other standard Range Rovers.

You first notice the unique CSK factory wheels with silver painted center spokes and black lips.

This Range Rover comes with extensive paperwork. You will be pleased to find the original window sticker intact, pre delivery inspection and dealer delivery checklist.

The service history is heavily documented and this Rover has been treated to factory dealership servicing throughout its ownership. In the folder there are receipts from Hornburg Jaguar Landrover, Cutter Motors, and MCL Bentley Jaguar Landrover.

This is a two-owner car that currently resides in San Francisco, Ca. The first owner owned the car in Los Angeles, Ca and serviced it punctually at the Hornburg Jaguar Land Rover dealership. Toward the end of his ownership the car eventually moved north to Vancouver where it was parked and driven sparingly as an extra vehicle.

All of the major services and maintenance are well documented along with the stamped owners service booklet. This is one pampered Rover! As you may know many owners opt to service with an independent shop because of the high prices at the Land Rover Dealerships but not this Rover.

The car is complete with the original window sticker, owner’s handbooks, service booklets and both keys with working factory alarm remotes and keys.

The interior is immaculate and has never been smoked in. The Connolly leather and carpets are great condition for a 23-year-old vehicle. The headliner was just replaced with a factory matching liner. Floor mats are the original hard to find Range Rover Rubber LWB mats.

This Rover has an amazingly clean body and chassis. There are no signs of rust on the body. The cowl, floors, and tailgate frame are particularly clean and rust free.

The exterior paint looks to be original paint but has suffered some oxidation over the years of ownership. The paint has some fading along the sides and rear of the truck. In addition there is a large scratch/dent on right rear door. See pics

Motor and transmission are super healthy and strong. Driving this Rover is like driving it new in 1993. The motor is smooth and shifting is crisp with no delays or hard shifting. The air conditioning blows ice cold and factory stereo sounds awesome with working sub woofer. I just did a full tune less than 100 miles ago. All belts, spark plug wire set, Bosch platinum spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and oil filter.

The air suspension has been replaced with coil springs and Bilstein shocks for a trouble free smooth ride. The Michelin Sychrone tires are 90% new with only 6k miles of usage. These are the best tires for the Rover!

The fuel tank and fuel pump have been replaced at 86,900 miles by Land Rover per the factory recall. The exhaust system is newer and replaced recently.

Up front the H4 headlights have been converted to daytime running lights for compliance with Vancouver regulations. I just replaced the fog lights with new Hella fog lamps.

Currently the car is located in San Francisico, CA and has a clean California title. It passes smog without any issues. All smog and emissions equipment are intact.

As far as extras, I have the factory roof rack on the Range Rover that was freshly powder coated. For the buy it now price I will include it with the sale.

I also have an original factory Range Rover Classic dog guard gate new in a box and never opened. I wlll sell this separately if desired.
