Rare! 1965 Land Rover Series IIA 109"
Left Hand Drive- Imported from Italy. CLEAR U.S. (Virginia) Title * Not Operating/ Not Drive-able* I bought this from my Commanding Officer while I was stationed in Italy. It arrived in the USA and cleared customs the same month I was sent back overseas. :( Prior to shipping from Italy the Diesel engine was rebuilt and has less than 1000 miles on it since rebuild. I have spent the last 2 years- and over $4000 restoring it as I could afford it. (receipts) Unfortunately the car took 9 months to arrive from Europe, and then sat outside the first year it was in the USA and the weather was not kind- It has been stored for the last 2 years inside, but I found out I will be overseas for a couple more years, this is the reason I have chosen to sell. Not desperate- I just want to get a toy where I am currently stationed, and want to find this one a good home.
