Own a piece of history! The Land Rover Defender line is now shut down. As of February 2016, Land Rover stopped making this classic vehicle. The Defender is only going to increase in value. Since the Series vehicles have been produced after WWII, nearly two-thirds of all Land Rover Series/Defenders are still on the road; A testament to their design and durability and the love of their owners to keep them going. The frame and bulkhead are steel, but the body is aluminum, which contributes to its longevity due to its inherent defense against corrosion.
Below are some of the parts that were replaced/refinished during the restoration.
Frame and body restoration, including:
Frame re-conditioned and fresh undercoat frame protect/sealer
Frame completely poly bushed (every bush replaced with polyurethane)
Complete exterior body prep then painted in Land Rover light green
5x new doors, door hardware, door panels, window tracks, hinges etc
Roof and accents were painted in metallic black
Upgraded billet bulkhead fittings
New front door weather stripping
New door seals, handles and hardware
New door hinges and stainless hardware
New windshield seal
New stainless steel hardware throughout
New front bumper
Windows tinted
New Alpine Glass rear windows
LED lighting throughout
Boost Alloy wheels metallic black with matching tires
Interior refurbished, including:
New seats throughout, upgraded front electric seats,
New rear bench seat frames
New door hardware and locks
New headliner, and carpet set.
Engine & Transmission
This defender has the fantastic 3.5L Gas V8 engine. It starts first turn of the key every time.
We replaced the following items;

· Spark plugs and leads,

· Rotor and cap,

· Thermostat,

· Water pump,

· All belts,

· Coolant pipes,

· Major service including rebuild of the carburetors,

The engine has plenty of power and will happily sit at 70mph without any problems. The transmission shifts as it should and 4high and 4low work perfectly. The clutch is smooth without any judder or slip.

Body
The body of this Defender was in great shape to begin with but during our restoration we painted it l Land Rover Light Green LRC005
Bulkhead - Is in fantastic shape and very solid.
Rear Cross member - The rear cross member has been replaced and is in perfect condition.
Frame - The frame is original and is very solid, it has been painted black and has matching VIN numbers.
Floor Pans - Are solid and in very good shape.
Doors- All doors were replaced and are completely corrosion free.

Brakes & Running Gear 
We checked/rebuilt all brakes. They all work as they should and the parking brake holds the vehicle as it’s meant to. Bearings, seals gaskets etc. were checked and repacked or replaced where required. We replaced the U joints on the drive shafts.

The vehicle is in Sarasota Florida, it has passed all DOT EPA DMV tests and inspections and is 100% legally here in the USA. All necessary paperwork will be given to buyer. It currently has a clean FLORIDA TITLE WITH NO LIEN HOLDERS and is ready to transfer to the new owner. We are happy to take more photos/videos/facetime with any serious buyers. We welcome you to come and inspect the vehicle. We are able to pick up out of state buyers from the local Sarasota airport.
