Description of 1992 Land Rover Range Rover |
NO RESERVE!!!!!1992 Range Rover Classic SWB 3. 9L AND A 1990 Range Rover Classic SWB 3. 9L. nbsp;I HAVE WAY OVER THE BUY IT NOW PRICE INVESTED INTO PURCHASING THESE ROVERS. AND ALL OF THE REPLACEMENT PARTS I HAVE PURCHASED AND INSTALLED!! WHOEVER GETS THESE IS MAKING A KILLING!!! I AM GIVING THEM AWAY!1992 Details This is a great vehicle. all of the new parts listed have less than 100 miles on them! I started this build for my wife but we have decided to go another route. our primary cars are getting high in miles and we are going to buy new ones. That is the only reason we are selling this great Rover. The concept behind this build was to solve all of the glaring problems first. There are still small issues but the big jobs have all been pretty much tackled. Now. lets get to the good stuff. New parts in the last 100 miles:Tires 245/75 R16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 with warrantiesPlugs WiresFuel Filter (needs to be installed)O2 Sensors (need to be installed)Idle Air Control ValveMass Air MeterAir FilterNew BeltsNew ThermostatNew Tie RodsNew Poly Suspension BushingsFlowmaster MufflerPower Steering Box Seals and Bearings (very hard to find!)Upper Radiator HoseTire ValvesWipersARB Steering DamperWheel Alignment6 Boston Acoustics Speakers (Rears need to be installed)Rebuilt Pitman Arm The truck has been running rich lately. and is hard starting when its hot. Ive got no time to troubleshoot it. Has a two inch lift and newer shocks. When I bought it I was told that the lift kit was only 2 years old. The brakes work great. this is a Non ABS model so it is simplified and no expensive ABS controller to worry about. Windshield wipers washers and headlight washers work! as well as the rear wiper and washer! The remote operated fuel door works as it should. The interior is in great shape and complete. no missing pieces. The wood trim is worse for wear but it is all there and useable as is. Radio display has a few dead pixels. The radio is useable. A quick google search will give you a Rover specific repair shop that will recondition the radio AND add an auxiliary jack for your iPhone. MP3 player etc. etc. Although just resealed. the power steering is still dropping about 2 drips a day. I had planned to purchase a new box but wanted to get it on the road sooner and opted for the reseal kitThe heated windshield works! and so does the sunroof! The 4x4 works perfectly and so does the transfer case shifter. The A/C is completely intact but in the cold weather here it is hard to say if it is blowing cold or not. Im sure it would need a recharge. Blender door isn't working so you get dash vents or defrost but no heat to the floor. fan switch only works on high speedThe Cruise Control actually works!! But. at highway speeds it will drop 5 mph and stay there. not sure what the issue is. At 60 miles an hour on country roads it will hold speed all day!Left rear window will not come down. Worked perfect before. Drivers power seat switch is not working. Haven't diagnosed this. No high beams. Flash to Pass works fine but regular High Beams just shuts off the headlights. The fog lights function perfectly. The rear tailgate will not open. The original tailgate was rusted through. as well as the floorboard near the hinge mounting point. I swapped in a solid 95 tailgate and latched it in place. I was quoted $200. 00 by a welder to replace the floor so I could remount the tailgate hinges. There is some rust scattered around the vehicle and some dents/chips . please see the photos. Rear defrost dosent work. there is a broken solder joint near the hinge. Should be an easy fix1990 DetailsI've only had this a few months. I don't know it as intimately as I know the red one. This truck has the very sought after full roof rack and the front brush guard!!!When I drove it home the motor was stout. for some reason it had mush more power and acceleration than the 92. I believe the motor has had some performance modifications done internally. The brakes seemed to work fine. It has a new muffler but the exhaust still has some leaks. I personally would run a new system. The body is in pretty good shape. rust as seen in the pictures. The worst spot is the tailgate. it still functions but is unsightly. I can't vouch for all of the accessories working. I drove it home in the summer and only used the headlights! Then parked it. The interior is intact and complete. With all accessories like the spare tire. jack. wheel chock. sub woofer CD Changer with magazines ect. Neither of the power seats work. The motors work but switches are out. This truck has some leaks. nothing obscene. but the leaks that are common on these vehicles. This truck seems to be in stock shape. I haven't been able to find anything about this "Botswana Zoological Society Edition" but it is unique. and it is a perfect candidate for a frame on restoration. IF YOU WANT MORE DETAILS AND VIDS.
