Description of 1969 Land Rover Other

For sale I have a 1969 Series IIa Land Rover 88” wheelbase. I bought this series from Arizona where I believe it spent most. if not all of its life due to the incredible condition of the car. Before I had the car. it was last registered sometime in the late 70”s. from there. I believe it sat in a barn. I purchased the land rover 2 years ago. Being an Arizona car. this car is in very good condition. There is no rust on the frame and still shows the original red paint from the factory. I’ll say that again. there is no rust on the frame. nor any braces fitted or any work done to it. My idea for this car was to preserve the original look. while making it safe and mechanically sound. I have replaced all the suspension components except rear leaf springs. a full wire harness. seats. seatbelts. mats. installed an alternator to replace the generator. weber carburetor. water pump. fuel pump. reconditioned gas tank and radiator. electronic pointless ignition system. everything in the braking system (drums. lines. cylinders. pads). clutch master cylinder. powder coated rims and newer tires. and countless seals between both axles. engine. transfer case and transmission. Engine and trans are original to this vehicle. I have put a lot of work into this car with never the intention of selling it. but another project has come along. The car runs great and starts very easy. All the lights work and the switches. Only thing that doesn’t work is the speedometer. which might just need a new cable. Also I believe the brakes need to be adjusted because you have to pump them a couple times. This car gets a lot of attention whenever I drive it and it is a blast to drive it around town. This car comes with the door tops and the hardtop roof as well. Car is located in Fort Worth. TX and had a clear Texas title.
