I bought this Land Rover Santana 109 Especial in Spain. I imported it myself, and have all of the EPA, US Customs and Homeland Security documents.
It spent most of its life on an olive farm in Spain, in a very dry climate similar to the America Southwest. Therefore, it has extremely low miles (km) and isn't riddled with rust.
I used it on my bison farm for tours and general work. It's a remarkable example of the model.
For those of you that aren't familiar with Land Rover Santana - they were made in Spain not the UK. They are exceptional utility trucks, and in many ways better than the UK models. I've owned both UK and SpanishRovers, Defenders, Series 2&3's, Model 88s and I believe the Santana models are superior (IMHO)
PLEASE Ask Questions, Come Visit, Get it Inspected, there isn't anything to hide.
The only reason I had it professionally painted was the original paint had faded.
It's highly unlikely you'll will find a nicer Vintage Land Rover Santana than this; if you do, buy it, and treat it like a unicorn.
If you want a really nice, head turning, rugged, Land Rover with a vintage flavor - Look no further.
ADDITIONAL INFO: I'm the second owner, the vehicle was owned by the same family in Spain from the time it left the factory, until i acquiredit. They were all Made to Order.
Also, it was featured in a Spanish news paper for having participated in a Flash Flood rescue operation. I may still have the article (If I can find it).
The Land Rover Santana will go virtually anywhere, in any weather condition - they aren't fast, but they'll be running when everything else has gone to the scrapyard.
