Description of 1989 Land Rover Defender |
|
Please, read the entire ad before you contact me. Excuse the long description. I want to present this car to the best of myknowledge. For sale is a 1989 Land Rover Defender 110 SW. The car was ground up build by ECD (East CoastDefenders). They are the number onedefender building company in the United States.Their simplest builds start at $225,000.To build a car to the spec of the car that I have will cost roughly$320,000 and about 1-2 years of waiting.Check out their link below. Thiscar is offered at a great discount. I ama car collector, that has decided to sell off some cars and make room for newones. https://ecdautodesign.com/model/custom-defender-110/?utm_campaign=DKI%20Custom&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=Vintage%20Defender&utm_term=%2Beast%20%2Bcoast%20%2Bdefender&gclid=CjwKCAjwkMeUBhBuEiwA4hpqEHSigeSxkslIYJUZ69Md4gdnKauGsKiSm7hhzypVNBggQ2cf9s8OqBoCeq8QAvD_BwE This truck was built ground up. It was torn down to bare frame and built upfrom scratch. There’s absolutely no rustanywhere on the car. Every single boltis brand new. All new wiring, plumbing, bushings, seals, etc… It was painted Nara Bronze (Land Rover color), with glossblack roof, grills, and miscellaneous accents. The interior is all covered in black grain leather The engine choice is a 650HP General Motors supercharged 6.2LV8 crate motor, called the LT4. LT4 isthe original motor in the modern camaro ZL1 and C7 Corvette ZO6. It’s installed with the computer and all the electronicsto make it look and perform like it was there from the factory. For the transmission the obvious choice was the GM 6 speed automatictransmission, with a new Land Rover transfer case Theoriginal diesel engine was great for it’s time and off-roading, but itdefinitely isn’t enough for modern times.150hp is nowhere enough for this car to get around town. And let’s face it, most of these cars barelyever get off the pavement. The goodthing about this defender is that it’s a perfect mix of off-roading capabilityand modern city driving. It will be justas comfortable off-roading and it would be cruising down the freeway at 80mphor picking up speed at an on ramp.
