Description of 1991 Land Rover Defender

This is a British-market Land Rover Defender, imported into the US from the UK by the previous owner in 2017. The correct VIN is SALLDHAF7HA464558, found on the vehicle as well as its Montana title.
The only modification made to this vehicle is reinforced shocks for better off-roading (see photos), otherwise it is fully stock. Being a British market version Defender, this vehicle has the turbo diesel engine not available in the US. No California emissions required for this vehicle as it is a pre-1998 diesel. Tires look great with plenty of tread and no dry rot. There is no middle row seat. There are three front seats and two benches in the back each able to seat 2-3 for a total of 7-9 passengers! This is a real Safari-style Defender built to take you places. Note snorkel and lift kit to add to your off-roading capabilities. I'm selling because I just don't have sufficient opportunities to take this vehicle out to do what it's built to do.
The reserve is $10,000 which is considerably less than the vehicle's market or even what I paid for it. I just wanted to protect myself in the unlikely event that this auction fails to generate adequate interest. You may have recently noticed the late Prince Phillip's Land Rover in the news as it recently sold for over $45K. My truck has the same 2.5l turbodiesel engine.This vehicle is currently parked in South San Francisco and may be viewed there through prior arrangement so you need not bid sight unseen.
