Anthony who had recently completed grad school called his buddy at Noble Cars to see if he had any Land Rover's on the lot. He did. Anthony bought Baby Blue sight unseen in 1971. After grad school Anthony worked for the National Park Service for approximately 28 years traveling across the country with Baby Blue. Here's her time line:

1972-1975: Park Ranger; Shenandoah National Park Virginia
1973: Drove Baby Blue from Virginia to Grand Canyon for 12 week assignment then back to Virginia
1975-1980: District Ranger; Zion National Park Utah
1977 or 1978: Painted Baby Blue and trailer tan in Cedar City Utah
1980-1986: Park Ranger; Blue Ridge National Park North Carolina
1986-1992: Chief Park Ranger; Cape Cod National Seashore
Anthony was instrumental in Baby Blue being used in Cape Cod Beach Program as a Park Service vehicle
1993-1997: Chief Ranger-Southwest Region; New Mexico
1997-1999: Chief Ranger-Rocky Mountain Region; Lakewood Colorado
1999-Present: Professional photographer; Santa Fe New Mexico

Baby Blue was purchased from Anthony by Land Rover Albuquerque on 11/07/2012. Restoration at Land Rover Albuquerque was from February to September of 2013. The photo album you saw laying on the front seat documents the complete history and restoration of Baby Blue.
