Description of 1963 Lincoln Continental

I have a super rare classic 1963 Lincoln Continental Convertible I need to sell. The most sought after year was 1963 as the 1961-1963 was the first generation of these classic suicide door lincolns. They changed a few things in 64 and 65 and then 66-68 were garbage. . .They only made about 8,000 61-63 of which half are on the road. . ...The car is straight as an arrow and from what I can see, ompletely rust free! I bought the car in Chico, A last year and had it transported down. A month before I bought it, bought a 63 Sedan and started the restoration process. Unfortunately my restoration cost on the sedan has tripled my budget and now I sadly need to sell the convertible to finish the Sedan. . ..
The Convertible has an engine swap with a late 80s Ford 351W engine and runs like a champ. When I bought the car, here were no door panels. The previous owner was a metal fabricator and created his own door panels with metal with no window switches. I paid $1000 for good condition door panels and window switches. The last few pictures show this. The car also had no hub caps so I picked up a set of hubcaps for it which you can also see in the last pictures. So the first set of pictures is how i got the car and the last few are with the door panels and hubcaps.
When I got the car, took it to a lincoln specialist and he charged me $1k to do all the work which you see in the receipt on the last picture. Hence, he car is safe and drivable. He recommended changing the carb a the time and last weekend the carb/timing started doing some funny stuff so it will need a new / rebuilt carb ~ $350. Also, nfortunately the top does not electronically work. From a few people i talked too, hat could be a $500 fix or a $3500 fix. And if the top worked, could probably get $17k - $18K for the car. The previous owner had a friend who used the car as his pallet to test his skills at painting cars. Hence, he car has a mediocre matte black paint job. It doesn't look great but doesn't look absolutely horrible neither. Last but not least, t will need some interior work as the pictures show. And one of the pic shows a hard to see crack down the front windshield. I think that describes all the blemishes. I want to be as honest and sincere as i can be about the car so you know exactly what you're getting into...
I drive this car on the weekends locally and its a blast. It's the car in the show / movie Entourage and the car JFK got assassinated in. They made this particular style 1961-1963 and then changed a few things and interior in 64 and changed a few more things in 1965 and then 1966+ it all went to hell as they did goofy things with the front and back. Hence, ollectors say the 1961 and 1963 is the most popular because its the first and last of the first generation...They only made about 18,000 of these over the course of 6 years and its assumed less then half are still on the road. Hence, ts a super rare car. These cars restored easily bring in between $50k and $70k. Asking $15,900 obo (please no ridiculous offers, cams, hipping requests, tc. . .) I have clean title in hand. . .. .
