Description of 1972 Lincoln Continental |
I have a 1972 Lincoln Continental 2 door coupe. The car is in good condition. no body damage and very straight trim and bumpers. It does have some minor rust on a couple of the usual areas. but the floors. runk. and frame are very solid in all areas. The car is a baby blue with a navy colored vinyl top. The top is solid with no rust and still soft and supple. not dry or cracked. Doors open and all windows roll up and down as they should and the glass is in good shape also. It has the the flip up headlights that work as they should. It gives the car a nice look when they are hidden away. The interior is in decent shape overall. it has original leather seats with no rips or tears. The chrome is all in good shape and all the trim pieces seem to be there. It has a 460 V8 that does start and run. the automatic transmission seems to shift as it should. If you are looking for a big classy vehicle. this is a great candidate. I really enjoyed the look of the car and the comfort of a big V8 with leather seats. I bought the car to have as a nice Sunday cruiser. but plans have changed and we need to sell. I have not gone through the car completely. but it does start. drive. forward. reverse. and stop. If someone wanted to restore it and make it a nice show vehicle this would be a great start. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to let me know. And I will get back with you to the best of my knowledge of the vehicle I have over more pictures of the interior and exterior and can send pictures of any area of the car for serious bidders. This vehicle is sold AS-IS no warranty is written or expressed. 500 dollar deposit is due at end of auction with remaining cost due upon pick up of vehicle. shipping/transportation of vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer. Thanks you for your interest. if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. |
