1935 Lincoln Model K Lebaron Convertible Roadster               Super rare LeBaron Convertible Roadster!  One of only 30 produced in 1935!  Excellent restoration to a very solid body and ready to enjoy immediately!  Correct date-coded 1935 V12, uide Super Ray fog lamps, ptional AM radio, nd dual side mirrors!  Excellent equipment and a true eye catcher from all angles!  Beautiful! Lincoln made huge design changes in 1935, oth with their model designations and engineering of their luxurious automobiles.  These changes began with the elimination of the KA and KB chassis numbers determining your wheelbase.  All cars would be considered K-Series and have model designations instead.  Both 136" and 145" still existed, ut now each chassis would be offered with your choice of body, o buyers no longer felt obligated to buy the longer wheelbase to have the most prestigious offerings from Lincoln.  Improvements for 1935 would include a better center of gravity by moving the passenger compartment forward a full 11 inches to distribute & balance weight more evenly on the axles.  The engines were now installed with 5 rubber mounts along with an improved camshaft & needle bearing tappet rollers for more silent operation.  Better, moother suspension.  An engine oil filter and free-wheeling were now standard equipment, nd helical cut gears and new synchronizing allowed for better, asier shifts from the transmission.  Although, he longer wheelbase proved more popular with sales totaling 820 vehicles, he more desirable today are the 136" special order models from the LeBaron and Brunn shops.  Only 580 cars would find this well-balanced, horter chassis in 1935.  Of those, nly 30 would become the gorgeous special order LeBaron Convertible Roadster, esignated Model 542! There are times here at on our showroom when certain cars grace the tile for pictures that simply stop you in your tracks.  This is without question one of those times!  The shear presence and design of this LeBaron Convertible Roadster is impressive!  Its size, urves, olor, esign, nd rarity really make it irresistible to view in person.  The rake of the windshield & rear convertible top, he curvature of the crowned fenders, he overall shape of the rear deck hiding the rumble seat, nd the forward grill work all comprise a sleek, exy Lincoln overall.  All Lincoln owners in 1935 were honored with leather interior seating, imple 2-guage instrumentation clusters, ocking glove box, teel side mounts with covers, ear luggage rack, 7" wire wheels, nd whitewall tires as standard equipment.  The greyhound mascot on the radiator was now a fixed ornament as well. This special example was recently acquired from Nashville, N from the esteemed Fred Ritter collection and continues to showcase an older restoration with utmost integrity.  Finished in Bright Yellow with darker yellow beltline & blue pinstripe accent and wheels, t grabs you from the moment it comes into view!  The interior seating surfaces are finished in soft tan leather stretching into the rumble seat with fold out paint protectors for passengers resting their arms on the body.  A rear seat foot rest hides on a fully carpets interior floor.  Options include optional AM radio, ual side mirrors, nd Guide Super Ray fog lamps.  We feel this car is priced aggressively to sell quickly.  It starts and runs wonderfully having been through our shop for a thorough inspection, arburetor cleaning, lushed gas tank, ew spark plugs, uel filter, nd tuning!  The odometer reading is only 51,110 miles which we have no reason to discredit as original.  An early built example and ready to enjoy immediately.  Please call with questions or to schedule an appointment to review in person.
