This was a long-time 1-owner vehicle that has been in a private collection in recent years. This is your true little old lady car, urchased new by Ms. Edith Maynard from Empire Lincoln Mercury on December 9th, 981. This car was her pride and joy, riven to weekly bridge club meetings & Sunday outings near where she lived, ountry Club Estates. This Lincoln has accumulated just under 43,300 original miles in its pampered life. This is a well-maintained example that has received regular mechanical and cosmetic care and it shows. This is a non-smoker vehicle with its original carpeted floormats, n excellent condition. The engine showcases factory chalk markings throughout while the original Fawn cloth interior is in remarkable condition. The paint and body are outstanding as well. The paint and body are in beautiful condition. The Carlite glass is in excellent condition throughout this Lincoln. The brown vinyl top shows as new. The metal is excellent throughout this car, bvious care has been taken to keep this car in fair weather at all times. The power sunroof is fully functional as are all courtesy and safety lighting, ncluding the optional cornering lamps. We do have the original carpeted floor mats, n excellent condition. The original premium stereo has been wired for a modern cell phone charger and IPOD hookup.
Open the doors to 1982. The original Fawn cloth interior is in beautiful condition, ery well cared for. Both seats have full power functions. All of the power features on this Lincoln are in working order including the automatic dimming headlamps. The optional premium sound system sounds excellent and the power antenna is functional. The upholstery is simply excellent. Seldom did Edith carry passengers. It appears the back seat was never used. Obvious great care went into preserving this cloth interior and I am trying to carry on the torch, o to speak. This car deserves meticulous garage care. The original headliner was just professionally replaced and shows very well. The cloth shade was also replaced at the sunroof. The door panels are in excellent condition, howing as new along with the brightwork. The carpeting is clean and detailed, omplete with the original floor mats, lso in excellent condition. These classy buttons are part of the diagnostic display, omplete with a trip meter, uel economy estimate, lock, nd more. The Premium sound system knob powers an amplifier and sounds great. The factory wood veneer trim is just beautiful throughout this Mark VI, xcellent condition.
The original steering wheel shows very well, omplete with functional cruise control buttons.
The dash and steering wheel show very well. The instruments are functional throughout. The electronic dash was the 1st of its kind and works great, omplete with a diagnostic check, rip meter, lock, nd fuel mileage indicator (14.5mpg overall) from our driving. I have personally logged several hundred miles on this Lincoln, t is an absolute pleasure to drive.The mileage reading of approximately 43,200 miles is original to this car according to owner history and it shows.
We have the original books and manuals including the metal protect-o-plate and a dealer brochure detailing the 1982 Lincoln Mark VI along with the original dealer sleeve.
The engine is the original fuel-injected 5.0 302 cubic inch V8 and in is excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. The engine compartment retains factory components and markings throughout. This is a clean engine compartment. The engine underhood insulation is also original and intact. The air conditioning compressor was just professionally replaced and the system converted to 134a. The factory emissions system is intact along with the fuel injection system, reather, tc. This car performs as good as it looks. Hoses and vacuum fittings have been replaced as needed through the years along with spark plugs, ires, istributor caps, tc. The original emissions equipment is in place along with the injection system and breather assembly. The engine and transmission perform smoothly. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive.
The door undersides are excellent. This is a corrosion free Lincoln throughout, eflective of its garage-kept and low mileage condition. The trunk is in excellent condition, omplete with the original spare tire, heel, nd jacking equipment, ever used. The trunk lid displays all original grease pen markings and decals. The paint and body is in excellent condition. The doors, ood, nd trunk fit correctly and close tightly, ndicative of the low mileage. The hood struts were recently replaced. There is a ding on the hood, hotographed above, his is one of the few flaws on this car and can be removed by a paintless dent expert. The door identification decal is very clean and indicative of the low mileage.
