Description of 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible |
Beautiful 1967 Lincoln Continental ConvertiblePress Play in the middle to watch the video. The rarest of the rare! 1967 was the last year for the convertible Lincolns and the year they made the fewest. only 2276. Of those 2000 there are very few left in this condition. Add to that the triple black combination and you have one of the rarest cars out there. Stand out among all the mustangs and camaros and be the only convertible Lincoln there. There were over 6000 cars at the Turkey Rod Run this year and only 1 convertible Lincoln. This car steals the show everywhere it goes. With it's beautiful black paint and amazing black interior it's just plain sexy. It is an absolute joy to drive as well. It floats down the road like you're riding on a cloud. and it's super quiet as well. All you hear is the wind. and lots of people honking and shouting "nice car" as you cruise in this thing. Restaurants and night clubs will pay you to park this thing out front. The video and pics speak for themselves. but here are some details. This car is driven regularly so all of the important stuff is updated i/e All new brakes. new fuel pump. brand new OEM carb. new voltage regulator. new fuel lines. new spark plugs. distributor. wires. battery. radio speakers. new AC compressor. belts. freeze plugs. upgraded suspension. new tires. new mufflers. new starter. new alternator. seats were professionally redone with real leather. new door panels. new carpet. and lots of other stuff I'm sure I'm forgetting. This car still has all the original window switches and relays and top switches etc. which is rare and important. All of the window switches work every time and the windows go up and down smoothly. It even has the optional power vent windows. The top works great and I've even installed a remote for the top that works from over 100ft away. All of the lights work including blinkers. brake lights. turn signals. and all interior lights. The car starts with a bump of the key without pumping the gas or anything. It runs. drives. steers. and stops great. There is absolutely no rust on the body and the underneath is very solid. This car has been very well taken care of over the years. All of the trim is intact and looks great. The bumpers are in exceptional condition as well. I have owned many convertible Lincolns and this is the nicest one. I recently sold a similar black 67 here on ebay a few months ago. It went for $41k and it wasn't as nice as this one. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions or to set up an appointment to see it. As always. I recommend anyone seriously interested to come see the car in person and drive it. Cars always look better in pics. I put the video and almost 100 high resolution pictures because I have nothing to hide and neither does this car. I have sold several classic cars on ebay without issue and have 100% positive feedback. I will help make this an easy transaction in any way I can. I'll drive the car to any air port or freight company within 50 miles. Bid with confidence. Whoever is lucky enough to get this car is going to love it! Thanks for looking and good luck. When making the video tonight I realized I didn't have a clip of this car's top going up and down so I added a clip of my other 67. The cars are almost identical and the tops function exactly the same. Please do not bid if you are not 100% serious and have funds immediately available. A non-refundable deposit is required at end of auction. This is not a trailer queen. it is not perfect. so please ask any questions you may have and come see the car before bidding. Thanks. This car is sold as/is where is. The information. products. and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. On Jan-11-15 at 05:58:56 PST. seller added the following information: Thanks for all the compliments and interest in the car. Several people have asked for pics of the motor compartment and underneath. I took some of the motor yesterday and I'm adding them here now. I will try to get under it tomorrow and get some more pics. It is very solid under there. as you will see. Oh. and you'll notice the AC compressor is out in the pics because it has always made a clicking noise so I bought a brand new one Friday and will have it installed tomorrow. Also. I bought a brand new set of 22" rims and tires last week that I was going to put on my 64 that can be seen in some of these pics. I decided to put them on the 67 to see how they looked. I think they look great. and they got a lot of compliments at the car show yesterday. They completely change the look of the car. I typically try to keep these cars all original. but this car looks great with these wheels. People at the car show yesterday were using words like "Gangster. Sinister. Mafia. etc. " So. I will give the buyer the option to keep whichever wheels they like best. FYI. the 64 is not really for sale simply because there is over $130k invested in it and I know I'll never get what it's worth. Thanks again for all the interest. |
