Description of 1963 Lincoln Continental

Up for auction is my 1963 Lincoln Continental Sedan. You rarely see any of these cars in Spanish Red, throw in the black leather with silver cloud cloth interior and you have yourself one rarely seen combination! This one is well equipped too. Factory A/C, EYE and Cruise Control.
Operating Condition:All lights workAll windows workA/C blows ICE COLD with R12 freonRadio and antenna works.Wipers and Clock works!!Everything works with only one exception. The dash eye.
Running Condition:Engine runs smooth. Fresh tune up. Nothing hacked up. Well cared for. Transmission shifts greatThere is a transmission fluid leak. It will leave a baseball size spot after a drive. Electric fuel pump ensures no issue with vapor lock.Front suspension rebuilt. New upper ball joints, strut rod bushings, center link and stabilizers.Brake work fine but are a little soft for my liking.8.20 X 14 Poly Bias tires all around.
Body, Paint & ChromeOlder repaint in the late 80's. A couple of scratches. Overall good condition. No sign of rust repair anywhere. The car has been inspected on a lift.Doors open and close very nice.Hood opens easily from the release.Bumpers are real nice. They must have been re-chromed at some point.Light scratches and blemishes can be found on the stainless trim. The only thing I have a problem with is the rocker panels molding. Someone screwed them on from the outside. Overall Condition:This is a great driver in VERY presentable condition. At ten feet away you would think this a show car. It's nice enough to take anywhere but not too nice that you would be afraid to drive it.
Car is auctioned as is, where is. Bid to own it. Please ask questions and inspections are welcome. No rush to sell it. If the car does not meet reserve. I will happily hold on to it.
