Description of 1975 Lincoln Mark Series

For sale - $3500 OR BEST OFFER: Excellent mechanical condition, ALL ORIGINAL 1975 Lincoln Mk IV; White exterior, vinyl top, white leather interior. 39K original miles, SECOND OWNER. This car belonged to my mother and was not driven by her after she became disabled, and is being sold as part of her estate. Currently has Mississippi "antique car" tag. After sitting for several years in her carport without being driven, I invested several thousand dollars in an engine overhaul, now it starts immediately and RUNS LIKE A NEW CAR. I had a new carburetor installed, new plugs, fuel system and tank boiled/cleaned, new tank sending unit installed, new thermostat installed, cylinder heads resurfaced, valves ground, numerous new lines and misc. parts installed. It was expensive, but the new owner will be getting a reliable car that runs great. The air conditioning fan works fine, but the air isn't cool. This car is all original, has never been wrecked, and exists as it did when delivered from the factory (aged accordingly, of course). As can be seen in the photos, the vinyl top has started to peel up (note photos), and the body has some rust. However the WHITE LEATHER upholstery, carpeting and dash are in MINT condition (I don't believe the back seats have ever been sat in). The only wear on the upholstery is light wear on the driver's seat. This car could be purchased and driven home as-is, I currently drive it around the neighborhood once a week - usually on Sundays - to keep it running.
