Description of 1957 Lincoln Other 2 Door Hardtop |
1957 Lincoln Capri I will be listing a few cars here in the next week or two for my family. We are reducing are number of cars, so please see my other listings as well. I am not a dealer. Just a beautiful original car that has been well cared for by the previous owners. We had plans to drive and show this car on a regular basis, but sometimes life has other plans, and we have decided to sell it to someone who we hope will give it a good home. You don't see these cars around very often. This Lincoln not only looks great at the car shows, but it's also a FANTASTIC road car. Details/Features:
The engine runs great, makes good power, and cruises effortlessly at higher speeds. The transmission shifts very smoothly. Steers and stops effortlessly. Drives straight down the road with no unusual vibrations, pulling, noises, etc. Working original speedometer and good working after-market gauges. This car drives better than it did 1957! This Lincoln is just a nice car everywhere you look (exterior, interior, engine compartment, trunk, etc). Very nice body and under-carriage (NO RUST ISSUES). Doors open and shut with a nice THUD. The windows roll up and down easily. The upholstery is in great condition. The paint is quite nice and displays well (original colors of Sand White over Horizon Blue). This car would lookgreat at all your shows and cruise-ins. You would be hard pressed to find another one like this. Please see the photos and ask what questions you have. FYI - this was a Factory A/C car. Although the original mechanical components are gone, the plastic tubes on the back shelf and the vents in the headliner are there. There is a company here in Florida that can recreate the rear A/C unit with good working modern parts. If you're interested in this, I can forward the information or possibly have the work done for you. What is the car worth?? NADA Classic Car Guide shows a "High Retail Value/Condition" of $40,600 + many updates that have been done to make the car the reliable driver it is! Asking price is well below the value shown above. I reserve the right to end the listing early at any time for the right offer as the car could be for sale locally. **All offers considered or click it and get it before someone else does** I welcome personal inspections and appraisers. Shown by appointment. Drive home or I can help ship thiscar to your door at a reduced rate via enclosed transport. If you are a long distance or overseas, I will try to work with you on the shipping.
