Description of 1978 Lincoln Continental |
Hi. I am selling a rare. one of a kind. Lincoln Continental Convertible. NO RESERVE. MUST GOI have owned this car for almost 7 years. I fixed it up a lot and planned to restore it. but do to unfore seen plans i must sell my baby. This car is extremely rare one of a kind. a real head turner. It has around 87. 00 original miles. Blue California license plate. I am the second owner. What makes this car unique. rare and one of a kind is the back part is chopped off and turned into a convertible. It also has a back roof you can put on and off as you please. It comes off and on as easy a putting buttons on a jacket. I customized the top with LV material with three diamonds in the back. The back seat also has LV upholstery. I also put on rare classic white wall tires to give it that old school nostalgic look. The tires alone cost about $1200. The rims are spokes with a lot of rust. To buy know ones with be very cheap. The body is in very good condition no dents or big scratches but will need a new paint job. Will need new battery. I have invested over $7. 00 + in this car. Who will never in you life see a car like this ever. Pictures were taken last week. The car has been sitting for a bout 2 years. started it up last week and drove around for 10 mins then parked it back in my garage. Car still runs and ignition turns easily. Battery is now dead will need a jump start and a new battery. Paint is original so it will need to be touched up. No oils leaks. The only concern is that there is a small water leaking from one of the hoses. I never had it professionally looked at but i know it is a minor fix that will be needed. it may be the water pump or hose but not sure. Other than that under the hood is great. I only used this as my cruising car. i have older pics i can show you so you can see it full potential. i need to sell this asap. NO RESERVE. ALL SALES ARE FINAL NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS. if you are looking for a nice project car to rebuild or restore with minimal work this is it. buyer will pay for shipping costs. if you have any questions you can call me or email me 415-685-6305. i will answer all questions to the best of my ability. i am also accepting reasonable offers. |
