Up for auction is a 1977 Lincoln Continental, Cartier Edition Town Car with only 66905 miles on it and a beautiful example of a classic car. This beautiful vehicle comes with the 460cc, 7.5 Liter V8 engine and automatic transmission. This vehicle drives greats at all speeds with no shakes, no drifting and no shuttering. The engine runs great with no knocks, ticks, etc… and the transmission shifts as expected. Exteriorly, this vehicle has original maroon paint, which is in great condition with no dings, dents, or rust on any of the body panels. This maroon color contrasts beautifully with the white vinyl top that is in excellent condition with no damage at all. As you can see from the pictures the interior is like new. The carpets and door panels are in perfect condition with no stains, cuts or holes. The front and rear leather seats are also in beautiful, near-perfect condition. The 60/40 front bench seat has power adjustments on both sides. The passenger side works perfectly in all positions and the driver side works in most positions however the forward and reverse is intermittent at best. The dash and all windows are in perfect condition with no cracks or damage. The power windows, power locks, all gauges, radio, cigarette lighters, interior lights and clock all work as expected. The front doors come with the optional power vent windows that work perfectly. The power antennae motor runs but the antennae only moves manually. Also, the cruise control isn’t engaging. The tires have 80% tread remaining and are mounting on aluminum wheels that are in good condition. The trunk has a spare tire and jack but is missing the trunk carpet. This car comes with a brand new battery and new oil change as well as an owner’s manual and a car cover. It also has the original floor mats that are in great condition. Overall, this is a beautiful example of a 40 year old classic that can drive anywhere in the style of a past era.
