This is a 1976 Lincoln Town Coupe that is one of the most iconic luxury vehicles from the 1970’s. This award-winning Lincoln is originally from Pottstow, PA and it was carefully maintained and garaged and never taken out in the rain. The vehicle condition is absolutely fantastic with everything working except for the clock. The odometer shows 25,567 miles and we believe it to be original miles as documented on the Georgia title and service receipts. It has the 460 cid 4V V-8 engine with solid state ignition, Select-Shift automatic transmission, power steering, power front disc brakes, power windows, automatic temperature control A/C. The air compressor was replaced in 2014. It also has cruise control, tilt wheel and remote truck release. The interior has the 6-way power on the optional Twin Comfort Lounge seats in red Media Velour with no rips, tears or fading. The carpet is excellent, and the door panels and headliner are all in excellent condition. The dash pad is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading. The dash is equipped with variable speed wipers, engine temperature and alternator gauges and has the optional AM/FM/ multiplex search radio with the original Quadrasonic 8-track tape system and yes, the 8-track tape still works! There are two boxes of 8-track tapes included with the car for your enjoyment. This formal Town Coupe displays a distinctive touch with the optional Landau roof with rear window defroster, and coach lamps. The P235/75R15 tires have excellent tread and the wheels have the luxury covers. The black paint has a great shine and there is no visible rust anywhere. The chrome bumpers have a great shine with no pitting, and the glass is excellent with no scratches and the lamps and tail lamps are excellent. The spare tire is in place with the original jack. We have all service receipts since 2004 and the original owners manual is included. This is a classic car that drives and rides smooth, and would make a great addition to any collection.
