Description of 1962 Lincoln Continental

You are looking at my 1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible. The most desirable/collectable years for the suicide door Lincolns is 1961 - 1963. These are really going up in value. I had this car shipped up from down south (Florida car). It has virtually no rust or body damage. It has a newer (original color) paint job. It has a few chips near the hood where the hood was taken off to replace the radiator. The seats were redone in vinyl and are in great shape. When I got the car in it had a tick in the engine. I took it over to the guys at North East Customs and they put in a new cam shaft. lifters. push rods . timing gears and timing chain. The also put new seals in the power steering pump and added a pertronix module to the distributor along with a hotter coil. I added new rear shock. new battery. new starter. I added a new brake light switch because the brake lights were not working. I added a rebuilt carburetor too. The top goes up and down as it should and is in good shape. It has a very rare rear luggage rack on the trunk. Air is not working nor is the interior lights. Most everything else works. A little tweaking and you will have a really nice driver! Please call with any questions at (203) 233 5023. Leave a message if I don't pick up and I will call you back. My reserve is what I paid for the car before putting thousands more into it! Sorry. no trades at this time. Thanks for looking! This is a 52 year old automobile and will be sold as is. I described the vehicle to the best of my ability. It will be sold with a State of Connecticut bill of sale. Connecticut does not issue titles for cars this age. I have sold a half dozen cars on E-Bay and this has never been a problem. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping and I will assist with loading the vehicle. Customer pick up is welcome too.
