Description of 1971 Lincoln Continental

This is my personal Lincoln. I have owned it for a little over 5 years and I am not a dealer. I have lowered the reserve. 1971 Lincoln Continental Mark III. The Mark III was made for 3 years. 69. 0. and 71. 76. 00 miles thought to be correct due to lack of wear but cannot certify. 460 v8 with automatic tramsmission. PS. PB. tilt. and all new air. It spent most if its life in California. Bakersfield to be exact. Never wrecked. never smoked in. The motor and transmission have been rebuilt. Less than 1000 miles on new motor and tranny. Motor was built from the new oil pan to the new Holley carburetor. New dual electric fans to help keep it cool. This car runs very well and shifts as it should. Black leather interior is original and in good conditon. Original carpet and floor mats. Headliner is good. New dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers that have a deep sound . If you would rather have a quieter sound. you can just change the mufflers out. Watch the video and tell me when was the last time you heard ANY car sound like this. Brakes have been done front and back along with new front brakes lines. One repaint since new. Paint is decent. but if you want a show car you will have to pony up. Questions are welcomed and inspection is encouraged. This car is soild as a rock and is a great driver. I have a big binder full of receipts dating back to the California owner. The Lincoln does have a couple of dings and and a few minor things that need to be sorted. Body and frame are rust free with the exception of some under the vinyl top to the left and right of the rear window. Body is lazer straight with no bondo. The heavy lifting has been done.
