Description of 1966 Lincoln Continental |
NO RESERVE 1966 Lincoln Continental Suicide door Survivor I bought this car from the second owner about 3 years ago. I have personally driven the car about three to four thousand miles over that time. The car was originally bought in Albuquerque NM in 1966. This is a true unrestored RUST FREE survivor that will blow your mind. The body is very straight and shows zero signs of any previous accidents. The chrome is amazing and looks near new. all emblems and badges are original. The glass is original and does not have scratches or breaks. The paint shows very well and shines nicely but there are small scratches on both sides of the carwhich looks like this car spent some time in the garage and other car doors bumped into the side of this beauty. There are no dings to remove, just small scratches in the paint that could be repaired by a good paint guy. The top looks original to me, but a few have debated that. The top is in great shape with no rips or tears and fits very tight. As for the interior, I am amazed how nice the car has been preserved. The original upholstery looks amazing. There is only one small tear on the drivers arm rest on the door. The seats have a small amount of wear marks but no tears or rips. The carper is original as well as the entire dash (which has no cracks and looks brand new). Every thing on the car works as expected except the AC does not blow cold. The AC unit is in place but not working. The stereo and all gauges work properly. The fuel gauge will sometimes stick and the next time works fine. I can not stress how cool this car is. The car does not drip a single drop of anything. I personally rebuilt the factory 4 barrel carb a few months ago and the car runs great. Power steering works effortlessly and the shocks, brakes, wheels and tires are in excellent condition. I stand behind my description 100%. If you buy the car and I am lying, i will refund your money. Watch the 4 minute video attached to show the car running and overall condition. Feel free to text or contact me with any questions. Clay 5054021558 1966 Lincoln Continental Suicide door for sale.
