In 1959 & 1960, Lincoln had a need to help its upper end
clientele that had a need for chauffeur driven cars. They
contracted well known custom builders Hess & Eisenhardt
to convert Black factory Lincoln Mark V's into the Formal
Sedan you see below. One of the absolute few remaining
examples left of this stunning model. Believed initially a
government CIA car purchased out of goverment service
by a retired CIA employee. Was stored for over 30 years
until purchased and restored in 2015 by a Missouri collecter.
Sticker on the dash shows only about 700 miles since 1971.
Here is some information I found about this program...

"Late in the decade, Hess & Eisenhardt performed additional
series-built conversions, but this time it was for the Ford Motor Company's
luxury Lincoln Division. A total of 297 1959 and 1960 Lincoln Continental
Mark IVs and Vs were converted at the Blue Ash Rd. plant. Built using
a standard wheelbase 4-door sedan and available only in black, the cars
featured an upgraded interior, a padded vinyl top with re-worked
blind rear quarters and a custom-made rear windscreen."
This car has received a very nice dual stage repaint in the Raven Black.
New special Black vinyl top in excellent condition.
The seats have been reupholstered in the Gray suede.
The door panels, dash and headliner were also completed.
New headliner and Blackcarpet.

Now it will look great in your garage.

The car is equipped with the factory 430 cubic inch
engine, 4BBL carb and automatic transmission.
Ice cold factory air conditioning
Factory wheel covers and rims, newer wide whitewall tires.
