This beautifully restored Lincoln can be your next gem to own and have in your garage. Here is a rundown of facts about this car. 1. Bought in W. Hollywood California in 2009. It had been a native California car and came with the California collector plates. Now in Minneapolis Minnesota2. Car was 100 percent there, but needed a full overhaul of the car. Car was restored3. Car has been driven roughly four thousand miles since the restoration and has been a pleasure to drive. So smooth, so nice.4. Every end of the car has been refinished, cared for and meticulously put back together in a professional manner with great and function.5. All features, accessories and operations are in proper order as designed and work well. (only item on the car that is not functional is the A/C system. The A/C system components have been rebuilt or replaced short of the compressor on the engine.6. Alterations to the car as follows. A. Front disc brake setup installed from later 1966 Lincoln Continental. All parts used for brake setup were refinished or new purchased parts. B. Convertible top has been replaced with Canvas top. Convertible top components have been replaced C. Modern day stereo installed in car without the modification of the interior or removal of original dash unit. The stereo equipment is easily removable without damage to the car.7. Receipts for parts/service available.Details about vehicle PICTURES SHOULD TELL THE STORY OF THIS FINE AUTOMOBILE Exterior; 1. Car was taken down to bare metal.2. Rear decklid dipped to get rid of any rust. Metal repair work done.3. Car repainted in Sultana white as indicated on VIN4. Door jambs, interior, interior, under hood and trunk area also repainted.5. No rust on vehicle.6. All exterior bright work refinished. This includes re-chroming front and rear bumpers. Bright work is all chrome parts and stainless steel parts.7. All new weather stripping used on doors, rear deck lid and under hood.8. Windshield replaced with new gasket. Convertible Top - Top system does operate in both directions. 1. New Canvas top installed using Leather Restoration products by Jim Wallace2. All New hydraulic components installed. Pump, Rams, lines, solenoids, etc.3. All relays have been rebuilt by Lincoln Land inc.4. All convertible top switches have been rebuilt.5. New top harness has been installed.6. All components in system have been refinished.7. Front header motor rebuilt.8. Front bow chrome header refinished. Interior 1. Interior has been redone completely.2. New leather installed on front and rear seats. Proper piping size used in seats.3. Carpet replaced with new insulation. Dynomat also installed inside the vehicle. Carpet kit from Leather Restorations4. Door panels have been recovered. Wood trim replaced with new trim. Recovered using Leather restoration products by Jim Wallace.5. Window switches have been rebuilt on all doors6. Bright work in the interior has been polished or refinished. The levers for the door and wing window cranks were re-chromed.7. Dash pads refinished by Just Dashes. Pad for A/C vent also redone.8. All gauges and dash components have been serviced and are operating properly.9. A/C heater control head has been rebuilt by Lincoln Land Inc.10. Stereo installed using premium components. Stereo installed in a manner that does not affect the original appearance. Stereo can be removed without any changes to the factory finish of car. Custom kick panel enclosures made to resemble the gauges on dash.11. Custom center console also made to house cup holders, stereo receiver, etc. Engine and Drive-line 1. 430 Big Block rebuilt using premium parts. Customer J.E. Forged pistons were used during rebuild. Alternator upgraded. Fuel pump replaced with proper pump, Carb rebuilt, New crank pulley. 2. Pertronix ignition system installed.3. Radiator and both heater cores have been rebuilt are in great working condition.4. Engine bay area ; ALL parts have been refinished and look absolutely wonderful. All components in proper working condition. This includes anything from a valve cover bolt to the transmission bell-housing.5. Transmission Rebuilt about 500 miles ago. New stainless steel lines were routed to cooler at radiator.6. Driveshaft re-balanced with new u-joints. Good used needle shaft bearings replaced. very unique part that Lincoln decided to use. Chassis, Brakes, Fuel System, steeringTHE WHOLE UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR HAS BEEN REFINISHED. All parts are powder-coated or repainted. BEAUTIFUL I TELL YA!1. All suspension components have been replaced. Front and Rear Bilstein shocks installed.2. Front brake disc setup from a 1966 Continental. New rotors, bearings, seals etc replaced new. Master cylinder upgraded. Brake booster updated using later booster with 1961 Brake pedal components to allow proper fit and function3. New front and rear brake lines.4. New front and rear springs.5. New white wall tires with re-finished 1961 hubcaps. Wheels are 15 inch. Hubcaps modified for larger wheel.6. New stainless steel brake and fuel lines front to back on the car.7. New Stainless steel exhaust - fits and sounds great.8. New steering gear box9. New steering pump10. Fuel tank cleaned and resealed. - new sending unit installed. |
