Description of 1959 Lincoln Continental 4dr hardtop

1959 Lincoln
Continental
Hardtop
nice survivor

LOW reserve !! ...BID TO WIN !

Super cool and getting harder to find, survivor car
1959 Lincoln Continental ... with just an amazing body
and floors. Its a huge car and still pretty straight for its
un-restored age/condition.
These cars just dont come up for sale much anymore
And if you are going to invest in one, may as well be
one from the Az desert (and a few yrs in UT) not all rusted out.

We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller
If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont
bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on
wondering if we are real or not.
FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also
shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating
for a reason,... try trusting it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This car has been in Az for many yrs and has avoided the
rust and rot most car this old have subsided to. Before AZ
It was in UT. but the trunk, floors and rockers show no signs
of rot etc. Motor turns over and the cylinders have been oiled
down for a few months now. Key was lost so couldnt try and start
it at the moment. According to the last owner, when it was parked
yrs ago it was just too $ on gas and didnt make sense to keep driving it.
Very complete and ready to do whatever you want with it.
Id keep it original and redo the interior and drive it like that if I
kept it. No harm no foul and not overly costly.
Its been here in Az for many yrs.

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !
Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title

apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!

DRIVETRAIN: factory Ford - Lincoln motor 430 V8 with an
auto trans. Shows about 80k on the odometer, and its probably
original miles too. With a weekend of playing with it, it would
probably come to life. I just really dont have the time and need
to make room for more cars.
Very original and unmolested under the hood.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, Az has been pretty brutal
on this area. We removed the carpet to see how nice the floors
are. Power front seat frame comes with the car. Most all looks to
be there. I saw at last 2 side flat glasses cracked as well as a
U shape crack in the front windshield. Factory Town & Country
radio is cool.

EXTERIOR:the body very straight for its age, but this is a 90%
rust FREE survivor. All the sheetmetal looks to be original from
1959, at least from what I can tell.Chrome didnt
fair too well on the bumpers and they are a little worse for wear
but the stainless trim looks good. IF YOU LIKE PATINA and really
Who doesnt, make it mechanically sound, do the interior, maybe
some cool rims and drive it like that ! Its only going up in value
every yr already, its a Win Win situation.
The front grill and surrounds look to be in pretty nice shape too.
Rust or rot I should say is almost non existent on the body.
Much nicer by comparison to most Contis this old living on the
Eastcoast. The exterior lites seem to be working okay.
I didnt see any rot repair from over the yrs or real signs on the lower rear rockers. See pics.SEE PICS PLEASE !!

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see
Just your basic factory set up front and rear.It may have discbrakes
up front, Ill check and post more pics. No wacky mods and surface rust at
best. Makes coming apart a breeze. Tires are rollers at best.
Probably road like a cloud back in its hayday ! Im sure some people
would air-ride it which is cool too and some 22" wheels.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.

There you go, probably The BEST represented LINCOLNS on Ebay.
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of important
areas under and over the car theyare selling, maybe
its not the best car to buy long distance. OURS IS !
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.

UPDATE:
this car is a 1960 Lincoln Premier
not a 59 Continental.....sorry for any confusion.
Personally, after seeing the Continental, I think its better looking are more desirable to restore or resto mod and make it your own style.
