Description of 1982 Lincoln Continental |
Driveable Dream! This 1982 Lincoln Continental is a survivor. Built on Ford's Fox platform this 1982 Continental is equipped with the 302 5.0 liter V8, 4-speed Automatic Overdrive Transmission and 4-Wheel Disc Brakes. It runs an drives like new and completed a 250+ mile road trip within the past year. The digital gauge cluster, including fuel and temperature gauges and speedometer works flawlessly, as does the multi-function trip computer in the center of the dash. Power, windows, seats and mirrors all function as expected. It has about 31800 miles on it. This car comes with extensive documentation including factory shop manuals, owners manual, and repair receipts. There is no rust on the body panels and only the typical minor surface rust on the underbody primarily in the suspension, driveshaft, and differential. It has a clean State of Maryland title in the sellers name. This car has been meticulously maintained, with recent work including: *Oil and filter change and new battery cable in 2019. *NOS Carburetor installed in 2018. *New Battery in 2018 *Rear brake calipers, pads, and hoses in 2017. *A/C Converted to R134a. *Headliner replaced. As with most older cars there are some issues but none that affect drive-ability, most are cosmetic: *Portions of the horizontal surfaces have been resprayed in a shade matching the original. *The factory radio has been supplemented with an aftermarket unit, but it will not turn on. This may be an easy fix but I have not investigated it. *Drivers side window will not roll up all the way when the car is moving, it may be slightly off it's track. *The lens of an interior light has broken but is still with the car. I have described this car to the best of my knowledge. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. |
