Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very clean 1993 Lincoln Continental with just 80k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this Continental to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful sedan. It is finished in Burgundy over matching leather interior, which is a good color combination. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. Before we begin, please understand that the fact that this Continental is even here gives it automatic points. Please don't expect a perfect car. 90% of these cars are probably up on blocks in junk yards at this point. Most that are out there are all faded, oxidized, and look terrible. There are probably a few perfect examples down in Florida somewhere...then there is this car. It is a nice, original car...not perfect, but better than most other Continentals by far. The finish shines nicely for its age and indicates that this Continental was well cared for. There is a spot on the hood that has been touched up and doesn't look good. There is also a small spot of rust on the LR fender under the paint. Aside from that, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally well cared for this Continental appears to be. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer one on the market for the price. I would rate the interior of this Continental to also be in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The interior tells you everything you'll ever need to know about this car. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner look new. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are soft, supple, and show virtually no wear...another indication that this Continental spent her life in a garage and out of the elements. The power windows, locks, seats, and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is the original factory Premium Sound and sounds good, I mean really good, through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The interior is spacious throughout and passengers can ride in complete comfort. The cargo area is also spacious and clean. I'd like you to pay extra close attention to the dash, door cards, and carpets. The interior of this Continental is almost indescernable from new. Pride in ownership shows throughout this well loved Lincoln. Mechanically, this Continental appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The only complaint I have about driving this Continental is an occasional vibration in the steering at highway speeds. It did it for me once on my road test. I slowed down and it went away and never came back...even at higher speeds than when it first appeared, weird. I wish I could explain it better. It almost felt like a loose wheel...but then it went away and never happened again. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times and feels strong. The check engine light occasionally comes on and beeps, but then goes off. This car is too old for my scan tool to communicate with...so who knows. It runs and drives fine either way. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with ZERO issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints...aside from the aforementioned vibration that mysteriously went away. If you love these cars, you know how hard it is to find a nice one that hasn't been all used up. I see these cars come through from time to time, but it has been a few years since I've had the chance to get my hands on one this clean so I jumped at the chance to buy it. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. My hope is that this insanely clean, low mileage Continental finds a new owner who will continue to care for her in the way she is used to being cared for. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
