Very solid and straight one owner 1948 Lincoln Continental. I purchased this car from the original owners estate in Georgia. It has spent its last 70 years at the Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasvill, Georgia . This car has not been started since the early seventies. I ran a direct gas line to a gas supply put new plugs in fired it up. It ran smooth with no noises or smoke. All 12 cyls ran smooth.I drove it around the block after getting the brakes to function. It will need a total tank and fuel line cleaning. The body is very solid . Rust free other than minor surface rust. It was undercoat new. I peeled some undercoating off the frame and it looked new. The left fender and door have been worked on many years ago.The interior looks 70 years old. Its all original though. Top is coming apart at the seams. All the glass is good. Chrome is perfect no dents or dings, some minor pitting. This is a perfect candidate for restoration or just a car to have fun with. Please Google Pebble Hill Plantation for history of the car and owner. Call Robert for any info. 586-899-7012.
