Vintage 1978 Lincoln Continental Hardtop Town Car 4-Door Sedan(Nice CA Car) No ReserveOVERVIEW – Overall a very nice running original California low-mileage car that needs some TLC and repair to the fabric top. which has deteriorated and caused rust to settle in. Engine – Starts easily / Runs quiet. Idle has been rough since the adjustment for the Smog Check last month (passed). Smog Cert is valid for transfer of ownership. Transmission – Auto Shifts fine and smooth through all gears Body – Nice straight body. Does not appear to have ever been in a serious accident. Doors shut tight. Has had a basic matching color repaint. Unfortunately. the fabric roof caught moisture and caused damaging surface rust around the edges of the roof line. most notably the rear section under the window (see pic). Otherwise. the car’s underside is really nice. The top seems to have caused the bulk of the damage. One cracked front blinker lens. but still usable. Interior – Good Original Condition. Switches for the power seats & rear windows don’t work. Radio & 8-Track (incl Power Antenna) work great. Front lights and blinkers are working. Windshield wipers work with a bit of water spraying out / blades need replacing. Clock is dead. Rear view mirror is cloudy. Carpets decent. Misc – Trunk and Tires are Good.
