Description of 1967 Lincoln Continental |
1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible. Original 462 Motor and C6 Trans. Very original car with one repaint, which was kept the original color of Bronze Metallic - Code V The interior is still completely original - Light Gold Leather - Code EG This car was designated as an executive car as the DSO is 84 " Home Office Reserve " from what I researched, this means that the order originated in the Dearborn Ford Motor Company corporate headquarters. These DSO 84 cars were either for executives as their personal company car or went into the executive motor pool. Pretty cool feature for a collector. This car has had 2 owners, the last one owning for 40+ years. It was painted back in 1989. It was garage stored about its entire life from what I was told, making sense of the nice condition of the body panels. The interior is in need of restore. The body is very presentable and maintains its original body panels from what I can see. The top works with the key next to the filler door. It operates slow, but it does work. The canvas is original and needs replacement. Only 2 or 3 of the windows are working, and they are hit and miss. Saying that, it will need some electrical attention. The headlights and brake lights and horn are all working - even the speedo works. I have not verified any other of the gauges. Door open and close very solid. Rockers are very solid I have 3 videos below to give a better idea on the Lincoln …. TOP OPERATION - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqddfTi2cVI&feature=youtu.be CAR RUNNING - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kGxPot4uCI&feature=youtu.be WALK AROUND - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBq0mQUVfVk&feature=youtu.be I would have to say this is a project car, but one that should not take too much to bring up to the next level. Visible rust in 2 areas under the driver side floor6-8 inches and about 2 inches in outer wheel well driver side. It still has the original data door tag, and matching clean title. TERMS : |
