Description of 1988 Lincoln LSC leather |
The price is firm. This LSC has 5198 original miles on it. It is currently in the garage for the winter. It had 2558 total miles on the odometer when acquired in September 2018-certified by three sources. I have a complete history of the vehicle including the original window sticker. It is powered by the 302 CID, 5.0 L 225 HP HO V-8 common to the Mustang and many other Ford models. All of the services have been updated and the original Goodyear Eagles have been replaced as they were very hard and did not grip the road. Also, the original tires had many flat spots that took away from the very smooth ride afforded by the new Michelins. The original wipers were also hard and were replaced. The drivers window required a gear kit and the passenger side window required a replacement rebuilt motor. The car also comes with a full cover and an original 1988 Lincoln Mark VII brochure that features the same burgundy color scheme inside and out, the original window sticker, plus the history of the vehicle. Also noteworthy is that the original radio was replaced as it was draining the battery. The new radio is blue tooth capable and was fitted into the dashboard with no modification-professionally installed. The old radio could have been repaired but the repair was not guaranteed. That radio also goes with the car when sold. Essentially this is a 32 year old new car that looks better than most new cars. I believe I am the third owner. Service updates include-oil change- Mobil1, transmission service, radiator flush, brake system flush, new tires and alignment, current WV safety inspection. Be advised in reference to pricing, I have more than $44K in this car. It is valued above its original sticker price (I have that original window sticker). In addition, part of my costs involved updating the services and wheel alignment ($1100.00), new tires ($550.00), MD state taxes ($2439.00), electric window gear and window repairs, $400.00, reseal AC ($395), wiper replacement and MD state inspection ($100.00). Then I super detailed the car and purchased a complete car cover ($275.00). Those costs have been eliminated for the buyer (except taxes). Thus the actual price of the car comes in around $13,000.00 when considering what was done that a buyer does not have to worry about. Bid with confidence. I don't want to sell the car, but there are other things more important right now.
