Description of 1972 Lincoln Mark Series |
I am selling my 1972 Lincoln Mark IV. all matching numbers motor and trans. In my opinion. it's the best body design for all the Marks. The long fender and hood look great with the small signal lens and no one can deny that this color combo looks fantastic. Over a year ago. I painted this car with the original brown with a hint of metallic. I had them sand the whole car down to metal and take off all trim and glass. I also had them sheet metal anywhere necessary (can text you pictures of work. if wanted). Everything works except clock and radio. I was going to put a new radio under the dash but haven't done so yet. Mechanically. I will tell you what I have done in the past year. Tune up. replace fuel pump. alternator. solenoid. battery. fan clutch. and radiator. All brake systems and front end working fine. Solid chassis with no rot. Tires are in good condition. I also replaced the heater core and the temperature control box. It was a big. expensive job but it had to be done. This is one big expense that the new owner does not have to worry about (have pics of this work also). All heat. defrosters and air conditioning are working properly. I feel this is 3+ condition car all day long. Bid with confidence. Thank you. > |
