Description of 1972 Lincoln Continental Mk iv |
I am selling a 1972 Lincoln continental which started life as a 2 dr hardtop but was converted into a convertible for the original purchaser of the vehicle when purchased brand new from dealership. As far as the quality of work goes that was performed I must say it was impressive how perfect everything lines up The car shows wear inside and out but for the most part everything is there and can be a simple fix for someone with basic mechanical skill and knowledge. I never found the time to work on it but the purchases of a couple new projects has put me in a position to where I can't afford to keep paying to store it. The 2 passenger tires have blown out from sitting in the sun and dry rotting. The passenger door and trunk have rust but quarters are solid. The motor is a 460 and was rebuilt by previous owner and runs strong. It needs carb adjustment or possible rebuild before I would put on the road. Buyer is responsible for shipping but I will assist in every way possible to make shipping a pleasant experience. Car is currently located in hayward. alifornia which is 10 miles away from docks in Oakland california so international buyers are welcome. |
