Description of 1975 Lincoln Continental

Now that Lincoln is coming out with the 2016 Continental. this nearly 41 year old American classic is being offered for sale at a reduced price. This Lincoln needs some TLC. It has only 22k original miles. When I bought this car over five years ago at an IRS auction out of someone's collection. it was almost perfect. This Town Coupe possesses a 460 CID engine which is just not made anymore. When I first got it . everything worked including the headlight doors! I started some minor restoration. which was all it needed at the time. This car has been outside and the rain. snow and sun has been been taking its toll on this lovely car. I have not driven the car in over three years. nor have I started it. I assume the gas and other fluids went bad and starting it the way it is now would not be a good idea. Some rust has begun and if I leave this car where it is. it would be regretful. The tires and vinyl roof need replacing also. So what happened? Late in 2010 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and my priorities changed and this car fell to the wayside along with many other hobbies and interests. If you have the where-with-all and a sentimental nostalgia for a classic like this. this Lincoln Town Coupe is waiting for you. I can give you the IRS certificate. if you desire. or turn it into a NJ title. whichever you prefer. I was also curious about who previously owned this car. but I never pursued it. I was hoping it was previously owned by some famous. infamous. or someone important. No reasonable offer will be refused because I do not want it to stay outside any longer.
