This 1968Lotus Elan RaceCar hasaearly racing history beginning in1970's andcompeted inthe 2015 season.The Elan has been recentlyrebuilt and wastested at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. It also recently competed in the Vintage Fall Festival event at CTMP in September 2015. This race car comes with a log book. The paint and body are ingreat conditionunderneath is a very clean rustfreeSpider chassis.Theroll cage is newer and is completely welded with Kirkey seat and a 5 point harness.The rebuildincludeda complete rebuild with all new parts of the engine done by John Dodd.A new clutch assembly mounted to a early Toyota Celica5 speed transmission. Also has a freshlyrebuilt rear differential. The car has 4 piston front brakes dual pin calipers and 2 piston rear calipers in the rear.This car is equipped with front coil-over suspension in the front and rear.There is a fuel cell with braidedlines.It has abrand new windshield. The carcomes with 14x6 Minator wheels. This is a beautiful Lotus Race car and a fantastic car to drive.
Engine has only 5 Running hours since rebuild.
