Hello, /div> Up for sale is my 1964 Lotus Elan S-1. I just spent an hour writing my description and that vaporized when I went to see the preview. Thanks Ebay. So I apologize for the brief description. It's a wonderful car that runs and drives great. These early cars are so pure in the way they look and drive. It is ready to go and really needs nothing to be enjoyed. It's not a perfect car, ut is shows really well and is stunning in person and when you drive it. I am in the process of getting a divorce and need to sell a few cars, therwise I would not sell it. It was restored by it's previous owner nearly ten years and 3000 miles ago. The paint has held up really well. The passenger side of the trunk lid sits a little high. The interior is completely new. It now has a S-2 dash, ut all the S-1 dash parts are included. The engine was built by Rich Kapena and is the nicest TC motor I've owned.Thetrans shift perfectly. Great oil pressure and runs cool. It now has headers, nAlternator, lectric fan, pin on oil filter. The trans has a small crack at the drain hole from a different style drain plug. It's fine if you just snug the plug and apply some rtv. Has been fine for me. Everything electrical works as it should, ut the heater motor is a bit noisy. The car was converted to the later"fail up" headlight system, ather than the "fail down' systemof the early cars. I recently upgraded all the suspension the fully adjustable ride height, amping front and rear. TTR in the front, pax in the rear with narrow springs. I also installed CV drive axles at this time, he original axles and donuts are included. Two factory workshop manuals, actory parts book and tons of receipts are included. It has a jack, ools, pare and car cover. I am available to show the car. I am 1 hour and a ferry ride north of Seattle. Please call with any questions you may have. Thanks, aul 360-632-1016
