Description of 1989 Lotus Esprit White with Metallic Gray Trim

This Lotus was designed by Peter Stevens at the end of 1987 and the Esprit Turbo was available in the U.S. starting with the 1988 model year.
Lotus is known for offering special editions of production models, and the 1988-1993 era cars are no exception. Lotus produced 88 pearl white cars for the U.S. in 1989 of only 318 units.
This Esprit was initially owned by a winning Olympic cyclist for its first 42,000 miles over 15 years and was regularly maintained and kept in impeccable condition.
I bought this Esprit in 2005 with 42,000 miles and have continued the tradition of the original owner by careful driving and meticulous maintenance. Today she has 54,195 miles on the odometer.
This is a car that wants to drive and is willing and able to do so and for over a decade she was my daily driver. The only reason that I'm interested in this Esprit having a new owner is because she deserves to drive more often than I can accommodate due to travel and family.
Maintenance and service includes having replaced the timing belt, all rubber including belts, tires and engine mounts. The car has never been abused or raced and never seen a track. This car is ready to make you smile from ear to ear and turn heads. Everyone loves the look and sound of this ride.
