1980 LOTUS ECLAT 2. 2 IMPORTED INTO USA BY US AIR FORCE WITH RETURNING AIRMAN. WAS USED AS A DAILY DRIVER BY THE AIRMAN AND SHIPPED HOME AT END OF DUTY. RIGHT HAND DRIVE. This car is a rare 2. 2 ltr with dual delarato carbs and a Getrag 5 speed box that came from the factory as a stock item. Same transmission as used in BMW's of the same era. Lotus had finally admitted that the lotus 5 speed gear box was never going to work well and could never really be fixed. Interior will need a full restoration. Body in very good condition. Engine ran when parked and we have not tried to start it. Has been in indoor dry storage and on jack stands since 6/2012. For sale with new copy of factory repair Manuel.
