Description of 1988 Chevrolet Corvette Callaway Turbo

This auction is for a 1988 Callaway Corvette - Callaway # 46 (only 124 made that year)Vehicle was involved in an engine fire that significantly damaged the front of the car. The following work has been accomplished:- Engine was completely rebuilt (with documentation). - All engine wiring replaced. - All hoses. belts. lines replaced with original when available. - Turbos rebuilt/restored (with documentation)- All Callaway components replaced with Callaway parts when available. (others manufactured for the car as required)- Engine compartment completely restored. - Rack and pinion replaced. /p>- Windshield replacedMore than $22k in repair parts and labor expended to date. Needs boost injectors to become functional again. Hood was not damaged in the fire - although the paint was due to the heat. Barely visible -but hood should be repainted to eliminate paint bubbles. Right hand headlight door has some smoke damage to the painted surface and should also be repainted. This is a true. rare production Callaway option corvette. Car is in good condition and needs a new home with a true Callaway lover.
