Description of 1992 Mazda MX-5 Miata |
1992 Mazda Miata I am the second owner of this pristine Miata. The car is an original California car, o rust whatsoever, nd has never been in any sort of accident. The paint is in superb original condition, ith only a couple of very small parking lot dings, nd some tiny stone chips on the nose. None of this is visible from a few feet away, nd in no way detracts from the obvious beauty of this car. You can see this from the photos. The car has always been garage kept since I've owned it, nd never driven in the rain. The car was purchased new in 1992 by a female owner at Royal Motors in San Francisco. She traded it in, n 1998 with 30, 50 miles on the odometer, or a new Miata, lso in Silver. I immediately bought the car, ecause I had previously notified every dealer in the area that I wanted a silver first generation Miata, elieving that this is the most beautiful color these came in. I have all maintenance records & sales record from the time I bought the car until the present, lus the original Owner's Manual. These are included in the sale of the car, ssuming I do sell it. I am under no obligation to sell the car, ut we are moving to Hawaii, nd it seems like a good time to make a change after 17 years of ownership. The car has been meticulously maintained, y a total car nut, nd never mistreated in any way. I am over 60 years old, nd have nothing to prove. Non-smoker. The car also has many upgrades, nd I doubt you will find a better driving or handling first generation Miata. This is an amazingly fun car to drive. The suspension is totally adjustable, nd you can set it to handle any way you like. Mechanical Condition Service was performed on 9/4/15 and all fluids were replaced. Brakes have 50% remaining in front, nd 80% rear. Drive belts were all replaced. All other safety check items were reported as "Good" . Tires have between 4/32nds and 5/32nds tread remaining. There are no cracks or dry rot present, ut the tires are old. Battery was replaced 4/4/15. 472 miles ago, he timing bel, ater pump, lutch, aster cylinder, nd slave cylinder were all replaced during a full service at a Mazda dealer. A/C needs recharge, ut otherwise checks out OK. I never use it... If I can't put the top down, don't drive it. Upgrades Ground Control coil over set up with Eibach springs. KYB AGX 8-way adjustable shocks. Racing Beat front 1.125" tubular sway bar with brace kit installed. Note: the sway bar is so stiff it would rip loose from its mountings without the brace kit. Racing Beat rear sway bar. Racing Beat End Links (Heim Joints) front and rear. Kosei K-1 Racing alloy wheels, 5x7. Brainstorm front and rear lower chassis braces. Flyin' Miata front strut tower brace. K&N Filtercharger Intake. Katzkin real leather seats. Momo Steering wheel. MGW shift knob & E-brake handle. Brainstorm high flow catalytic converter. Boss Frog powder coated roll bar. SCCA approved for racing. This IS NOT a style bar, t's a real roll bar. Powder coated cockpit brace. Double capacity radiator. Robbins glass window top. Brainstorm dual low profile headlight kit installed. PIAA fog lights. Uses factory fog light switch. Alpine CDM-7871 AM/FM/CD player. CdCaddy2 double Din mount CD storage unit. Clearwater CWC-1 door and CWC-3D headrest speakers. These are absolutely the best Miata speakers. You would think there's a sub in the car. NADA value is listed as Average Retail - $5,075 (this car is nothing like average) and High Retail - $8,100. So, he range is $5,075 to $8,100. These are becoming collectible, nd the values are likely to go up. There are very few that turn up in this condition, nd most have been trashed by kids who wanted a cheap fun car...or the owners are holding on to them. This is a great opportunity to own an outstanding example of this landmark car. nadaguides.com/classic-cars/1992/mazda/mx5-miata/2-door-convertible/Values Any questions, lease call me at 310-948-6065.
