This car is one of the very rare 1989 Miatas left and they are getting rarer.These 1st generation Miatas are becoming collectable and one in this condition is a great candidate for a collection.The production run for 1989 was from April and was limited. Mazda lumps the 89s in with the 1990 model year. This car its a July 89 production model. Very good original production stock condition with shiny paint, ecent new top with glass window. Interior has minor wear to driver seat surfaces, arpet shows very minor wear on driver side and all interior trim pieces are in good shape. The seats are standard premium one unit leather high back. No fading to paint, op or interior. The car looks new from 10 feet away but closeup there are some parking lot door dings, tc. This beautiful, wo owner Miata was purchased for my wife and has been her prized possession since 2001. It has been garage kept. Driven only locally, ot a commuter car. The condition is clean. It honestly shows like a new car with beautiful paint, rim, op and interior with only the slight signs of use to the driver seat surfaces. It has received routine maintenance including fluids, ilters and Mobil 1 annual oil changes since purchased. The top was swapped out for a new one with a glass back window, o yellowing, o scratches. All the rubber is in good condition. The bezel on the cigarette tray is broken due to dried out 26 year old plastic and the turn signal lever is a later version, roduction parts were not available when the first one got lazy and quit at 20 years. I installed a new JVC stereo with CD player and new speakers. The original steering wheel with functional airbag, onneau cover, hift knob, hift boot and all other original parts are in the car. The photos show the car washed just with water to show how beautiful and original it is. It drives great and has no known mechanical issues and has a clear title. I would warrant that this Miata is one of the most desirable 1989 in the country.
