Description of 1983 Mazda RX-7 GSL |
No reserve auction. Engine:Runs well. grumpy when cold. but it has a carburetor. pull the choke and it starts cold. Very smooth motor that appears well preserved or rebuilt. Previous owner claims to have changed the apex seals and other items in the engine compartment. Overall it has a very clean engine compartment that appears to have come off the showroom floor. Transmission:Shifts well. clutch has plenty of grab and seems to have plenty more left. No strange noises. Steering:Very tight steering with no loose spots or strange noises. Brakes: Brakes stop car evenly and pads have plenty of wear left. Tires: Tires have well over 50% tread remaining. Electrical:Everything works. Body:Very clean with a few scratches and a couple of small bumps. Paint is oxidized in a few places as seen in pictures. Interior:Interior is very clean. Only blemishes are some cracks on the dash and a small wear spot on the driver's seat. Overall this is a wonderful car that is a pleasure to drive. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car across the country. Own a 32. XX mile classic and with a new paint job and some cosmetics. you will have yourself a wonderful RX7. I let the NC registration expire but may re-register it if I have the time. I travel for a living so I'm selling this car as it is not my primary and it just sits a majority of the time. If you have serious interest. come take a look at it before bidding if you are able. Thank you. Please email me with questions. If you would like to meet locally. provide me with you numbers prior to going through the process of meeting and not having the same ideas - which ends up resulting in good talk about these cars. but time that could be spent with the kids.
