Description of 1990 Mazda RX-7

Just in time for summer!!
Blaze Red exterior with black top and black leather interior.
Professionally converted to Ford 5.0 (302) with automatic transmission with electronic fuel injection and passes smog no problem. Excellent daily driver that turns heads!
The 5.0 is from a 1995 Mustang GT, rebuilt, standard bore, new rod and main bearings (.001 under, crank polished not turned) and new gaskets and seals everywhere, new waterpump, new alternator, rebuilt GT40P heads (valve job, new seals and new springs), Cobra 1.7 roller rockers with stock GT cam and new Ford Racing roller lifters, new BBK headers and H-pipes with cats. This engine is around 300 hp and 375 lb-ft at the flywheel and is set up for regular gas. It has an electronic speedometer with Dakota Digital driver, so you can easily adjust it if you change tire size or axle ratio. Approximately 1500 miles on rebuild and conversion.
This car is very quick, runs and drives great. It is not real loud, but has a great low rumble and sounds great.
The car has a newer paint job in the original factory Blaze Red, very well done, and the paint shines well. There are a few chips that have been touched up, and a couple of minor scratches on the rear bumper, but overall the car is very nice looking and would do well in shows as a daily driver category car and is definitely something you can be proud to drive.
The top is in good shape, just a couple of places where some seam stitching is not perfect, but it is still usable and does not leak. Includes the tonneau cover for when the top is down.
The leather seats are in very good shape, no cuts or tears in the leather and the leather is in good condition.
There is a new aftermarket Kenwood stereo with bluetooth, cd, usb and satellite ready. The factory headrest speakers work fine, and the system sounds good.
It has 16" alloy wheels with nearly new Continental tires. If you prefer, I also have the original BBS alloy wheels that came from the factory on the car and they have tires that are in excellent condition as well - I will sell it with either wheel/tire combination as you prefer. The struts are newer and in excellent condition - the car rides like it should. The car comes with 2 spares (I don't know why, that's how I bought it... one in the trunk and one under the rear cover)
The car is not perfect - it is a 25 year old car so it has a few creaks going over bumps and a few stone chips in the paint, but it is a great, fun driver that is easy to drive and much more reliable and quick than the car was stock. When I have checked mileage, it was getting over 21 mpg around town.
I built this car with the intention of keeping it and driving it myself (I have been driving it on nice days), so I did everything right, but I sadly miscalculated how much tax I would have to pay in April, so I need to sell it to get the cash I need to pay taxes. I don't want to sell it, but I need the cash.
