White 7 White 1984 Mazda RX-7 S INTERIOR -Burgundy not perfect but all intact -Painted Black dash -After Market head unit, cassette -Black floor mats -Everything Manual/Standard EXTERIOR -White -Windows tinted -Repainted the moldings -Wheels are plasti dipped black -extra set of wheels DRIVETRAIN -Chassis has over 290k miles -Engine has been swapped with a lower mileage 12A. Told it had 60k miles on it. -Transmission is a 5 speed swapped from an 85 that had 137k miles on it -I have only put 10k on the car since. SUSPENSION -Tokiko blues just installed -Polyurethane bushings installed on front and rear sway bars -Stock springs THE BAD -Exterior has minor chips and dents -The steering column had a telescoping thing going on. Did a quick fix I got from the forum. Involved drilling a hole in the shaft and putting a rivet in it. Seems to be working pretty good. To do a more permanent fix would require taking it all out and doing a small tack weld. It has to be able to collapse still for a safety reasons. -Owner before me hit a deer and damaged the passenger front. Fender, shock and strut bushing was replaced along with the other 3 shocks. Fender painted to match. STORY -I have owned the car for about 6 years. And I am the 3rd owner -The car did pass smog two years ago with no problems. The car is a non op right now due to the fact I have not done anything with the car within the last 6 months. I have no doubt that it will and can pass smog again. -All maintenance on the car has been performed by me when the car was in operation all the time. It has been sitting for a little bit now. Maybe 6 months. -I have some records of the car I will include from the previous owner and myself. -If no one wants to buy the full car I may be willing to part it out. -Selling the car due to no time to play with it. I have an 84 GSL-SE that has taken my time. BOTTOM LINE -The car runs and handles great! It gets a decent gas mileage for an old rotary. (20+mpg with a light foot) I do believe that's it.
