Description of 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Offered at No Reserve is our all original 1990 Mazda Miata MX-5 Roadster. These cars were monumental when they were released and still hold strong in today's sports car market. They have been campaigned in SPEC road-course racing. autocross. and drag racing; their fans are won-over by the agility and handling that these vehicles are capable of. Low mile examples are always cherished due to their preserved condition and ease of maintenance. Our car was purchased in 2013 from a dealer in Pennsylvania and was literally owned by a little old lady it's entire life. Always stored inside and never abused. this car still retains it's factory paint. interior. and drivetrain. Being well cared for helped this car to avoid a lot of the rust & corrosion issues inherent with the East Coast and this is one of the most solid examples we've ever seen. Paint still retains its original shine. their are minor swirl marks that could easily be removed with a light buffing. No body damage. dents. or major scratches. It is not a perfect finish. but it does show the love and care this car has always been under. Interior is all original with the exception of the aftermarket stereo unit. Seats have no rips/tears. they are still firm and supportive and the carpets are well intact with no stains or damage. All gauges function normally. and the A/C operates fine. The car does have the factory soft top; it is in decent condition with no major rips. but there are the two small tears where the top meets the body on each side as seen in the pictures below. The soft top was down for most of the car's life and this caused the plastic back window to be discolored black and is no longer see-through. Luckily. it can be zipped out and laid flat. It is possible to install a replacement back panel. but the entire top may need to be replaced to ensure continual functionality. This car did come with the factory hardtop and it is in very fine condition with no cracking. dents. or major damage. There is a small chip right in the middle of the roof that was touched up. and due to the location. is almost impossible to see. These hardtops are hard to find. especially where they are matches to the color of the body. The top exactly matches the color of the rest of the car and is in excellent condition. The drivetrain is the stock 1. 6Liter DOHC 4 cylinder with the 5-speed manual transmission. We've only done routine fluid changes and maintenance to the car and we've never had to rebuild or replace anything on the car. Having only 70. 00 miles. you will surely have years of life left in this engine with little/no issues. Transmissions shifts fine. no major leaks or drips. and the car still drives and handles like a race car. This car is very well preserved and has been kept in it's original state by all its owners; it has never been abused. raced. or messed with.
