Hello and thank you for looking at my 93' Mazda RX7 R1. This has been a long time dream car of mine since i was 13. I was able to pick this up as a rolling shell a couple years ago from a buddy of mine without a motor and some front end parts missing. It was at that time i decided to build it to the ideal car ive always wanted. I chose a 6.2 LS3 engine from a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with 60k on the odometer. I used a engine swap kit made by Sikky manufacturing and included a new oil pan, motor mounts, transmission mount, and a DSS driveshaft. Wiring was done with a plug and play harness from wiring specialties and has a Dakota Digital Speedo calibration box on it so the speedometer works as well as tach and all of the other factory gauges. I also had to use a Lingenfelter 58x to 24x converter box as i am still using the gen 3 LS1 pcm to power it. It has a custom 4" intake i made for it to keep it simple and made a V mount radiator with fans mounted on the bottom side of it as well. It vents under the car through a skid plate i had made for it to also brace the front bumper. It does not have AC but i did get the harness made with AC in mind so it has the wiring there for it. The oil filter is also mounted on the passenger side of engine bay for easy access. When i first put the motor in i opted for a brand new LS3 flywheel and LS7 clutch which is mated to a F body T56 6 speed transmission. It has no grinds or any issues with the transmission. I did however make a custom brace for the differential that mounts to the subframe eliminating a torque bar that is commonly used. I finished that off with a OEM hurst short shifter and remounted the shifter to fit in the stock location. As far as the outside goes I decided to go with mostly shine auto for the body panels. It has a shine auto spec v front bumper, oem style 30mm wide front fenders, 50mm rear widebody fenders, shine auto carbon rear diffuser, unknown brand side steps, and a seibon painted carbon fiber "viper style" hood, and oem jdm mazda badges in the front and rear. I bought new headlight covers as one was missing and they operate perfectly fine going up and down. I also added a JDM oem side markers to the fenders for a nice touch. The stock tail lights were removed in favor of the "lambo style" tail lights from depo which are a very expensive upgrade. It rolls on WEDS KRANZE 3 LXZ 3 piece wheels 18x10 fronts with 265-35 R18 and 18x11 295-35 R18 in the rear. The tires are Toyo Proxes and have maybe 6k miles on them. I decided on Fortune Auto 500 coilovers for ride comfort and adjust ability. The exhaust is a custom true dual 2.5 inch all the way back with an X pipe in the middle and has factory trailblazer SS exhaust manifolds that have been modified to V band. The battery is located behind the driver seat in the storage compartment with a quick disconnect. Interior wise it has a NRG quick disconnect steering wheel and a lock that i had purchased for it separately. It has a simple alpine CD/MP3 player and is wired for a subwoofer in the back. Now for the bad, the rear quarter panel widebody is showing some cracking along the seams from driving stress. The car clicks when trying to start as if the battery is low but it does start after a few clicks every time. It has some wheel vibration after about 50mph, ive had the wheels balanced and couldnt get rid of the problem. I suspect it has to do with the barrels not being true. The passenger rear tire does have a very slow leak and takes about 2-3 weeks of it sitting and it will eventually be at 15psi. Other than those things the paint isn't perfect as i did it myself. Some of the interior is loose from broken tabs mainly around the center console. It has some squeaks around the interior when driving and going over normal bumps. It is missing the map door as it never came with one when i bought it. All the parts on this car were purchased new and has maybe 6k miles on the whole build. I'm sure there are a lot of things i'm forgetting to mention. You can see a walk around of this car on my youtube channel empire garage. Lastly its come to my attention that i really dont drive this car enough and have other priorities so i decided it was time to let it go. Please feel free to call me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about it. This is a no reserve auction so whatever it sells for it sells. Buyer is responsible for arranging for shipping/delivery. Since I am located in Albuquerque, New Mexico i can deliver to Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas on my trailer for an additional fee.
