1994 Mazda RX-7 Touring Silver Stone Metallic / Red 1.3L Twin Turbo Rotary / 5spd Manual Only 47k Miles From New! 2-Owners From New VIDEO WITH LISTING VIN: JM1FD3332R0300531 We purchased this beautiful ‘94 from a local gentleman, the second owner. He had owned the car since 2001, when he had purchased it from the original owner with 35k miles on it. He used the car as a summer driver for the next 16 years, accumulating 12k miles over the course of his ownership. As... it sits, this is a tremendously well-presented example that is in need of nothing. It is in excellent condition inside, out, and underneath, and feels fantastic on the road. These cars are FAST, even by modern standards. However, the power doesn’t really make itself known until you eclipse 3k rpm, so around town the car is very docile, quiet, and usable. While it handles like a proper performance car, suspension is plenty supple for around-town and city use. Exterior: - Please see the video along with the listing, as every blemish on the car is shown close-up and in direct sunlight. Blemishes include a couple of small chips consistent with 47k miles of road use, as well as a scratch on the underside of the spoiler. - Stone Silver Metallic (3L) paint is in great shape, and really glows in sunlight. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free, though there is a tiny chip on the lower windshield. - Wheels are in nice shape. The passenger side wheels show a slight bit of rash on the outer ring, but this is very light. Yokohama tires are excellent. Interior: - Interior is extremely nice. Powered systems are all functional, including but not limited to: Air conditioning, sunroof, windows, locks, lights, signals, radio, heat/fan, wipers and sprayers, defrost... - Gauges and dash lights are all functional and the odometer reading of 47,344 is accurate based on known ownership history and outstanding condition. - Seats are in excellent shape, with very little visible wear. No fraying, scuffing, or stains. Even the driver’s outer bolster only shows the slightest bit of wear. The red interior contrasts beautifully with the silver metallic exterior. - Door panels show no kicked-open markings, and the door sills are nice and clean, not scuffed up. There is a small plastic piece (cover for storage spot) behind the driver’s armrest that is missing. You will note that a radio knob is also missing in the photos; we have since found one and fitted it. - Dash is in like-new shape, with no damage or discoloring. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Please take a look through the underbody photos, as it’s documented in detail. Underbody looks very, very good. No evidence of any damage or leaks of any significance. Structurally excellent. This car has been garage kept by both of its previous owners and it shows. - Engine bay is nice and neat. While service documentation is limited, the car will come with the original manuals and warranty booklet (stamped with delivery info from St. Louis in August ‘94), as well as the factory floormats, spare, and tools. - On the road, the car feels truly excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to fly in and drive back across the country. No noises or tendencies of any concern whatsoever. The car starts up first turn without fail, idles cool, steady, and quiet, and pulls through the gears smoothly and with gusto. Brakes are excellent, and the car tracks straight under both acceleration and braking. No clunks or clanks from the suspension; this is an extremely well-sorted car.
