Description of 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL |
Amazingly well-kept, fully documented, rust-free SURVIVOR 76k miles RX-7. This car is in stunning condition and has had a very short list of owners who kept this car at the very highest standard of maintenance and care. The records indicate four owners, the original being a pilot who started the care and record keeping that have followed this car right up to today. Exterior, interior, engine bay all show very little age and wear. I have installed new plug wires, plugs, and wiper blades all around, so she is ready for the street or your collection. Everything works as designed by the factory. Freshly professionally detailed. I also bought new back glass gas struts and installed one on the driver side. It holds the glass up better and stronger than new. I will include the other one with the car if you want to install it. RUST-FREE SURVIVOR with ultimate documentation since new! No fading, no rip or tears, just one of the very best! Hagerty has identified these cars as highly collectible and the prices are rising accordingly. This is a great chance to buy a documented, nearly perfect example before the prices double or triple. I'd put this car at a 1.5 on the scale. Hagerty puts the values as follows: Current Values:$18,900 #1 Concours$11,800 #2 Excellent$6,900 #3 Good$3,300 #4 Fair They define #1 as: Condition #1 vehicles are the best in the world. The visual image is of the best vehicle, in the right colors, driving onto the lawn at the finest concours. Perfectly clean, the vehicle has been groomed down to the tire treads. Painted and chromed surfaces are mirror-like. Dust and dirt are banned, and materials used are correct and superbly fitted. The one word description for #1 vehicles is "concours." They define #2 as: #2 vehicles could win a local or regional show. They can be former #1 vehicles that have been driven or have aged. Seasoned observers will have to look closely for flaws, but will be able to find some not seen by the general public. The paint, chrome, glass and finishes will all appear as excellent. No excessive smoke will be seen on startup, no unusual noises will emanate from the engine. The vehicle will drive as a new vehicle of its era would. The one word description for #2 vehicles is "excellent." I welcome inspections or questions. I have driven the car around my property and it drives well and works as it should. I will cooperate fully with your shipper or your schedule to pick her up. Clear Arkansas title. Located in Fayetteville, AR 72703 Absolute auction - BID TO WIN, no reserve! Good luck! |
