Description of 1993 Mazda RX-7 Touring |
Please note: I have priced this as the cheapest, turn key left hand drive USDM RX7 on the market. The car needs nothing but a new owner to continue to care and love for it. No doubt, this car will continue to rise in value as it is a unmolested example of the one of the greatest sports cars ever made. It is priced aggressively to make room for a new car I have on pre-order. Up for sale is my healthy 1993 FD RX-7. No expenses spared. Engine was rebuilt 15k miles ago by a well known rotary shop. Currently has 112,605 original miles and is slowly increasing as I do drive it most weekends. Originally red, previous owner had it professionally repainted with a beautiful metallic finish and clear coat. The color is stunning as you have to see it in person to get the full effect of the metallic paint. For the most part, the car is stock with a few reliability mods: 1999 Spec OEM Turbos1999 Spec OEM y-pipe1999 Spec OEM TaillightsKoyo RadiatorApexi Power FCBonez downpipe, high flow cat, and a HKS Ti Carbon ExhaustBonez flywheel and ACT clutchMazda Miata Red Stitch Steering WheelSpirit R Shift KnobKenwood Radio (stock radio included)Ohlins Coilovers (stock suspension included)Oil Temp, Fuel, and Boost Gauges Installed on dash with a 3 gauge podNew BatteryNew Brake Pedal SwitchTires have about 90% tread remainingTwo KeysOriginal Owners ManualsFolder full of receiptsTexas State Inspection good til 8/2019See driving video herehttps://youtu.be/IqD832N0kHMAC and Heater Works (AC could use a recharge but does blow cool air) The car drives and still retains the stock feel (see video above!). Shifts smooth, clutch pedal not too heavy or too soft. The JDM 99 spec turbos offer more mid and top end power making this a very fun car to drive. This was not a track toy or race car. Simply built to be fun, reliable, with an OEM presence. All electronics work including mirrors and sunroof, no leaks or wind noise. There are zero oil leaks and no smoking. The exterior is just about flawless minus a few minor rock chips on the very bottom of the front bumper and main impact areas. Non smoker, interior is nearly perfect, only the wear and tear on the right bolster of the driver seat (common wear area) and a small tear in the seat cushion (see photo). All the compartments in the interior open and close, no broken tabs. No rust, no accidents, clean and clear Texas title in hand. Please feel free to ask any questions about the car. It is for sale locally so I have the right to end the auction early if need be. Will provide airport pick up as I am confident the car will perform well if driven cross country but willing to help arrange shipping if needed. Thank you |
